Hello, my name is Ashley and I’ve been with Valley Pediatric Dentistry since 2007. You will see me at community and networking events throughout the year. I am lucky to have been here through so many amazing changes, technology advancements and new procedures for our patients.  I love interacting with children and their parents and watching our patients and families grow. I’m thankful for an incredible team and the atmosphere we have created here at VPD. I am very passionate about health and fitness. I love weight training and hiking; especially on the area’s trails. I love living, shopping and dining in the Hudson Valley and I am a huge supporter of all local businesses. I am an active member of The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Outside of the office, I enjoy exploring the Hudson Valley with my husband, family & friends and my little frenchie, Gus.

Hi, I’m Shinera! I am a registered dental hygienist, and I am also the clinical team leader at Valley Pediatric Dentistry. I joined the practice in 2006 and instantly fell in love with pediatric dentistry. My favorite part of my day is seeing the smiles on our team member’s faces every morning to the shining smiles of each of our patients as they experience a dental visit at our practice! Some days you may see me working in our hygiene bay, other days I could be helping out our admin team, or maybe playing in the lab, tightening screws somewhere or enjoying meetings at either of our offices. I also enjoy spoiling our team by surprising them with sweet treats to get us through our workdays.

When I am not at work, I am out and about with my kiddos; I have two sons and two English bull dogs who keep me very busy!

Hello, my name is Dianne. Born and raised in the islands of Trinidad and Tobago, I moved to the USA in 1989. I started my dental career as a dental assistant and I quickly became passionate about dentistry. I was inspired and encouraged to further my education in becoming a Dental Hygienist. In 1992 I graduated with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Hostos Community College. Since then, I have worked in the dental field for 33 years experienced in general, periodontal and pediatric dentistry. I’ve been with this amazing VPD team for over 15 years. I am truly passionate about working with children striving for a positive patient experience and devoted to educating patients on their individual needs whether it’s chair side or at the schools teaching dental health. I am an eager learner and I am always seeking to refine my skills and advance my knowledge in all aspects of my life to be the best version of myself. I am blessed to be a part of a team that believes and promotes professional and personal growth.

In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, meditation, praying, sharing meals and meaningful conversations with friends and family.

Hello, my name is Amy and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist. I’m a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University College of Dental Medicine with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and Higher Education. I have always taken an extra interest in our patients with special needs and strive to keep current on the best ways to provide optimal care to our most fragile patients. Currently, I hold a position as a Clinical Instructor at NYU – College of Dentistry Center for Patients with Disabilities. I am proud to be part of Valley Pediatric Dentistry since 2016.

I am so fortunate to share my life with my children, my husband and our sweet little dog Cookies and Cream , “CEE CEE”. We enjoy soccer (futbol!) baking and traveling the world!

I’m Jena, one of the dental hygienists! I started my dental professional journey when I was 15 years old, as an orthodontic assistant. There is where I fell in love with the dental profession and knew I wanted to work in pediatrics. I am dedicated and committed to helping children find ease with their appointments, as well as teaching them good oral health habits.

When I’m not in the office, I spend my days homeschooling my four children and traveling with them, my husband and my dog, Ollie (our 5th child).

Hi! My name is Amanda and I’m one of the dental hygienists at VPD. I’m a California native, born and raised in the SF Bay Area. I graduated from Foothill College in 2014 and spent my first six years working with adults. In 2019, I was ready for a change and moved to New York, which is when I found a wonderful pediatric office, Valley Pediatric Dentistry! It has been a joy, connecting with patients and learning to create a warm and compassionate atmosphere to help children enjoy coming to the dental office. Working here with our wonderful team has opened my eyes to a wide array of skills and knowledge in the special field of pediatric dentistry that we use to give each patient the best care possible. It has been a joy and so much fun!

Outside of the dental office, you might find me hiking, volunteering, spending time outdoors with family and friends, or my favorite thing, eating! See you soon!!

Hello! My name is Nicole and I am a registered dental hygienist whose journey in the field began when I graduated from Lincoln College of New England in 2016. My commitment to dental health led me to further my education, achieving a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Bridgeport in 2021. In 2022, I found my professional home with the VPD team, bringing with me six years of valuable experience in the dental field. What truly captivates me about my role is the opportunity to help children confront their dental fears, making my career profoundly rewarding.

Beyond my professional life, I’m all about the outdoors. Hiking is a big passion of mine, and I really enjoy spending time with family and friends. I recently picked up skiing as a new hobby, and I absolutely love it. It’s such a thrill!

My name is Janine and I am one of the dental hygienists at Valley Pediatric Dentistry. I graduated from NYU College of Dentistry where I obtained my Dental Hygiene license and have been practicing for 16 years. Working at VPD has given me a new purpose as a dental hygienist. Working with kids has been so much fun! You can find me in both the Hopewell Junction and Jefferson Valley office.

I live with my husband and our crazy Boston Terrier puppy, Winston. I absolutely love all animals! Besides working in dentistry, I would love to also do something that involves doggies one day.


Hi, my name is Madi and I’m a Registered Dental Hygienist. I graduated from Coastal Carolina’s dental hygiene program in 2019, and a few months later, I moved to New York. I have been in pediatrics since 2020 and it is my favorite. 🙂 I love the cheerfulness of working with kids, figuring out how to adapt to each child’s needs, and helping kids with anxiety to feel more comfortable at the dentist.

In my free time, I enjoy swimming, reading, volunteering, and spending time with my husband.

My name is Jen and I’m one of the dental hygienists here at VPD! I began my dental career in 2007 as a pediatric dental assistant where I discovered my passion for dentistry. I graduated from Bergen Community College in 2009 and have loved helping little smiles grow ever since! I originally attended Seton Hall University as an elementary education major, so teaching and working with kids has always been my thing… I just happened to find my classroom in the dental setting instead! Outside of the office, I’m a busy mom of two and spend much of my free time cheering them on at the soccer field. Once their soccer seasons end and summer begins, this Jersey girl loves being able to spend time with the family down the shore on the weekends!

Hi, my name is Sharreta! I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and a native Southern Belle. I received my Bachelor’s of Science from University of TN Health Science Center in 2007. I started my career with adults in general dentistry for 17 years but for the last 2 years I have found a new love working with children. I just love the humor of little ones! Some kids need a little extra patience and tenderness, and I’m proud to help make their dental visits comfortable and positive. Valley Pediatric Dentistry isn’t just a workplace for me—it’s a fun, welcoming environment, and I truly enjoy seeing my patients’ smiling faces every day. In my personal time I find purpose in volunteering and focusing on my spiritual health. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and my little dog. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi, my name is Gabriella! I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and I am proud to be a part of the VPD team! I am a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Before hygiene school, I fell in love with dentistry by taking care of patients as an orthodontic assistant. I love to connect with my patients and be able to teach them more about their dental health. You can find me in the Hopewell Junction office and the Jefferson Valley office, where I treat our lovely adult patients! During my free time, I love to go shopping and explore the outdoors with my husband and our German Shorthaired Pointer, Remy.

With over 17 years of experience in pediatric dentistry, this field has always been close to my heart. I was inspired early on by my aunt, a dentist, and later followed my passion alongside my sister, who is also a hygienist. Going through dental hygiene school together—and eventually working side by side—made this journey even more meaningful. I love the challenge and the joy of working with such a variety of patients, dedicated to ensuring every child leaves with a “perfect” smile inside and out. I also simply love just how much these kids make me laugh. Beyond the clinic, my “why” is always waiting for me at home. I am a proud mom to four incredible kids and a wife to my amazing husband. Every second of my time is happily spent with my family, our dog, and whoever walks through our revolving door soaking up the chaos and the joy of a full house.

Hi, I’m Ashley and I am one of the dental hygienists here at Valley Pediatric Dentistry. I’ve been working in pediatric dentistry for 18 years, and I truly love what I do. Helping kids feel comfortable, overcome dental fears, and build confidence during their visits is incredibly rewarding. I’m passionate about teaching children healthy oral hygiene habits that will last a lifetime. There’s nothing better than hearing a child say, “I love coming to the dentist!” after their appointment. Outside the office, I enjoy cooking and spending quality time with my husband and our two young children.
